I have spent money. 
We have gone out and bought a cot, a car seat and various paraphernalia that goes with each. As a treat we also bought a rocking chair / feeding chair as well. I suppose it had to happen, the wallet opened.
Still, my wife managed to make me feel better by showing me how much we could have spent on the various bits and pieces. I am pleased to say that we could have spent considerably more. Still, I shouldn't begrudge the little tyke the stuff. We did plan to have this baby and so it is a joy (sort of)...
